I'll obey the law, as long as the law allows me to. If I have no choice then screw it.

I still think shutting off the bike and starting it up again should do the trick if youre stuck at a light

Don't shut it off, just bump the starter. It'll spin without hurting anything.

exactly.....i haven't been stopped for it yet, but if i was, it would HAVE to be a pretty easy explanation to a cop, and if not, ill contest the ticket....its stupid.

i've got a rare earth magnet attached to my exhaust and i still don't trip a lot of lights. in some states, i believe it's legal to run a red light on a motorcycle after a certian time limit is reached.

Just think...if you REALLY are conscience of the law and ARE trying to do good by it and wait for a bit...don't you think that while you're waiting you might notice a cop sitting around watching you.

Of course the cameras are different...I'm wondering if it just snaps a pic when you enter the intersection by some sort of trigger? Or does it record, in which case you could show that you waited X number of minutes before proceeding.

Either way great question. My answer is that I usually wait a few cycles if in a turn lane or at least a "reasonable" amount of time before I say "screw this bish I'm outta here".
