You must run quite a ways every day to put down 4500 pounds a day and not be 400 pounds.

In the last 6 weeks I've dropped 20 pounds and I have another 20 to go.

Its funny, most people dont think of food as fuel, even though it is as you stated. They care more about the grade of the fuel they put in their car than they do their own bodies.

4,500 calories a day for me and I'm 6'1" and a solid 185.Body fat is 11-12%
holy crap. If I ate 4500 calories, Id be 300lbs....lol. I have a very slow metabilism, I gain muscle easy, but also fat easy. I eat around 2800 calories a day with 5 to 6 meals. if I stray even 200 calories, I will gain weight. Im 6'1 too, but about 200 lbs with around 10 percent body fat. Its taken me a long time to figure out what will work for me to gain muscle and keep the fat off. Its not easy, so thats probably why most americans just say **** it and eat, dont excerise, and then complain about their health.

Food is not,

Entertainment
Comfort
A Drug
A Pastime
Your Friend

That is all, be healthy!
Idk X. I don't see a reason why it can't be ay of those things. What's the harm?
Have you looked at the average American?
Well now, just because some people don't know how to handle a gun doesn't mean that we should take them away from everyone. The general poulation are a bunch of tards, and don't know enough or care enough to limit themselves. I have fun with food, and find food and drink an enjoyable part of everyday life. Sometimes, I "need" (well, a better word would be "want") some ice cream. Does that make me weak? EEh, maybe, but If I'm not a slob, who gives a ****?

4,500 calories? You must be kidding. How much do you work out? I eat about 2,000-2,500, do cardio 2-3 days a week, and some light strength training (push ups, sit ups, pull ups). That's the combination I need to maintain a healthy weight and look half decent. You must be able to crush bricks between your pecs.

8 meals a day, aiming for 6000 calories. Granted i am trying to gain weight. I have no idea what my body fat is, but i would guess 15% maybe. I also lift 6 days a week. 6 foot 2 and about 190 right now, trying to get back in the 210 area.

It's a lot of work to stay healthy. Not drinking or smoking is a huge part of that too.

Has anyone noticed the BMI swaying? Reason I say this is because hell, if you look at medium in childrens clothes, I could damn near wear it, its like society is tailoring towards modern trends. I'm 6ft even, at a low of 185 and a high of 194, I wear a 32-34(depending on brand) jeans. I work out when I can, usually 3 days or so, keep it basic, pull-ups, dead-lift, squat, dips and push-ups. I'm not a sit down and relax guy though. Most of the year, on weekends, I'm up at 3am heading to the woods to hunt, hike a pack out to the boonies or something. In the off season, I'm still up early, on my feet all day fishing, trapping or something. Hell, I don't go to movies cause I don't like to sit on my *** for that long to watch the damn thing. I think its more of a life style than anything else. Eat healthy all you want, but sit on your *** all day and it'll get you nowhere. Eat like crap but work hard and keep busy, and you'll look fine. I think Ideally, its a balance between the two.

5'11" 140lb. I can't gain weight for ****. I'll eat all day and not gain a pound. The more I eat, the more pipe I can produce from *** factory. I thought I was anemic or something so I went to my doctor and he reviewed my height to weight chart since I was a kid and I've always been on the tall skinny side. He said theres nothing he can do.
