I had some open box 7.62x39 that split the casing about a 1/4 inch below the primer, leaving the rest of the shell lodged in the barrel and it would jam the next shell partially in the broken shell. This happened once for every 10-15 I shot.
Now I only buy bullets in a sealed tin from surplus ammo vendors, don't care to have a lodged shell explode in my face.

No... it's not only in America. It's in Africa, too. They have the full auto versions, though, and actually use them for genocide. This one is semi auto and just goes to the range for fun. I've always wondered how a bowling pin will take a 7.62.
And yes, the foregrip does split in half. The things I want to address on this gun are the foregrip (kinda wobbly... feels cheap) and those wonderful AK sights.
