I have to go to Roselle, Ill. soon for a training class. What is there to do around there that is fun? Im gonna be there for about ten days and dont want to spend every evening in the hotel. I think its a suburb of chicago so yeah let me know whats up.

 

i live in des plaines, not crazy far from roselle....good news is you are really only about 35 minutes from downtown if you are good on traffic...are you renting a car....as for stuff to do in roselle....haha...i don't think you are going to find anything too unique....most of the good stuff is in the city....you could travel up north a little more and go to woodfield (rated as a #1 destination for chicago, have no idea why)....it's just a HUGE mall with tons of restaurants, movie theaters, etc.....

john barleycorn off of american lane in schaumburg is pretty close by, sometimes i hate going all the way to the city to go out, and barleycorn is within walking distance (dont go thursday, country night[:'(])

 

yeah im renting a car and the govt is paying for gas, so distance isnt really gonna be an object. Any cool punk clubs in chicago worth checking out where i wont get my *** stomped for not being a local?

 

oh yeah definitely....you'll have to check around...i THINK the Exit is punked based...it's a very tough looking biker type bar...lol...i am a not the type, although i love punk.....

check out http://chicago.metromix.com/ ....it is the bomb-diggity....locals use it to find out what's going on and it even has it's own show....if something is going on, it's in there....it'll have day-by-day specials, events, details for dress code, directions....seriously....it's great....
