I forgot to mention that after last nights blizzard I went out with shovels, a roof rake and a ladder to try to find some work cleaning snow off of peoples roofs. I figured I could at last get a few bills paid today at 100-150 bucks a roof split two ways so my cousin and I loaded up and headed out. Stopped at about 25 houses and no one could use the service. Michigan is rough. I think it's really just a matter of economy. No one has the money to spend. We even went to a few places who had tried to do it theirselves and didn't finish thinking we'd get those ones for sure. Even the houses on the lake turned us down. Now I'm just hoping that someone I gave my business cards to calls...

 

i know this isnt what you want to hear but what everyone is trying to say and anyone thats been in the army will agree MAN THE FU(K UP

 

like someone else said, there is usually a way to get your bills worked out, pmt plans, etc. i work for a student loan company, so there are usually always ways to help with those, ESPECIALLY federal loans. there are all kinds of deferments and forbearances for the federal loans. the priv loans are usually harder to deal with and almost always require some type of payment. just take it a step at a time. i feel for you, im trying to save money right now, i used to be able to save some every check but i just got paid last friday and right now have $70 bucks left for the next week and a half... hopefully the tax check gets here soon, lol

i guess if there is any advice i can give it is similar to what someone said above: Be Thankful.

i believe theres no way to be happy without first being thankful. every time i take a warm shower, lay in a warm bed, sit around and watch tv, etc. i just think about how, although i disagree with alot my country does, this is one of the only countries in the world where you can go to a highschool bball game on friday night, rent a movie and order (or cook your own) pizza, etc. i mean look at Egypt right now...

 

I need to get out of this worthless ****ing state. I think moving back to Michigan was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. It's less than 10 degrees outside right now. Midnight and my brother pulls in. Another car dead in the driveway. Don't know what the problem is but I know it's got a dead battery so I'm not going to **** with it tonight. there is a blown fuse in the central junction box but in typical ford assessness you need the owners manual for fuse ID (I could use the computer but I'm not running between the pc and the road with different printouts and diagnostic tools all night).

I am so sick of doing ****ing charity work it's not even funny.

If I could afford to fix your sh*t for free then I would GLADLY help out but the bottom line is if I can't pay my bills I cannot help you pay yours.

Yeah now I just need to figure out which bank to rob to fund the relocate

edit: Who want's to talk about where they live? I'm thinking SC. Maybe near charlotte. But I wan't to go somewhere where I'll know people and can ride almost all year or all year long. Suggestions? I'll hopefully be looking for a roommate within the year too so if anyone is interested....
