FIrst time in about 15 years....
I dropped my bike in the yard this morning. Had pulled it out on the grass which was still wet with dew. Had set it on the kickstand on a slight slope, slipped with the wet grass and over she went, still running. Being afraid of a fire (happened to me before) I reached over and snatched it up, not taking care to lift correctly. My back is JACKED up. Going to have to make it to the doc pretty soon. I am strung tighter than a rubber band....
Goes to show, that after all these years of riding you still have to pay attention to the little details.
Oh, didn't hurth the bike at all, aside from picking some grass out of the body lines....

So your bike started a fire once when it fell over...or your bike caught fire once when it fell over?

Not this one of course ( as this hasn't happened to me in over 15 years) but bike fell over running, fuel spilled from the overflows on the carbs, found a spark and burst into flame. Burned like hell. Suprizingly it stayed running for quite a while as well.....
Oh wow...that's terrible.
I saw ab old Chevy Nova catch fire once. I guess it takes some work to catch a vehicle on fire, but once it goes up there's really no turning back...
