Doog,
Bitchin man! My wife rides with me. We got her a Ninja 250 aboout 1 1/2 years ago and I am still a little nervous to ride with her, even though she holds her own and then some. She ended up going down an embankment once, so I am extra nervous when we ride, but that happened on a while back. Getting to share your love of riding with your wife is one of the cooler things I can think of.

Good stuff man, good thread. My two daughters just pooled their money this summer and bought a Ninja 250 to learn with, because they wanted to ride with Dad (me). I was proud, but let me tell you about being nervous riding with them. I'm sure it is the same with the wife. You love riding with them, but you want them to be safe. It's the ultimate!
It's also an honor to be on the same thread as those who serve our country to keep us all safe. Tell your wife to be safe over there!

RE: First ride with wife
When I got my bike over a year ago the girlfriend said I want to ride. Then after riding a few times she said I want one. She took the abait course and I found her a F3 to start on. I was a nervous wreak the first month of riding but she did much better than I could have hoped for. She has been riding since April and we have logged around 6000 mi together. We have worked out all the kinks and hand signals to each other.
I am glad I supported her instead of trying to keep her off one because I thought she might go down. We have the best times on the bikes together.
I love riding with others, and my girl is talkin about gettin one, but it scares the shyt out of me thinkin how vulnerable she will be
