Default First Crash...

Well... it happend.I crashed[:'(]i was riding with a couple experienced riders and was stupid and rode above my skill level and paid for it... we entered a sweeping left hand turn at about 55-60 just cruising. i knew my speed was to high for this corner and my skill level, i tried to increase my angle and got scared so i straightend up (STUPID) and braked for all i was worth. rode wide in the corner, hit some dirt and the bike flew over the curb while i skid along the street. Target fixation brings another bike down oh well, i guess. i JUST got a TZ-R so my head is fine, the helmet is trashed though. some road rash on my shoulder, hip, and forearm. got xrays of my pelvis and ankle and i didnt break anything. i broke off my left front turn signal and got a scratch or 2 on my body work. other than that, just my ego lol Live and Learn though!

ive read twist 1 & 2, as well as sport riding techniques. sorry ive been riding a couple weeks, still getting my "sea-legs" and btw, those books dont help your ACTUAL riding skill. they put the idea in your mind of what is supposed to happen. not how to ride. practice and instruction are the best ways to learn the physical control of the motorcycle. all of this is my opinion, so dont flame me for it plz
