finally installed frame sliders!
I've been putting it off for a while now but I've had one bike with no frame sliders. After a nasty highside earlier this year on the bike, I knew I had to get some put on it. Luckily that crash didn't bend the frame or do too much damage.
Installation was easy, luckily I didn't have to cut any fairings, so no fiddling with laser pointers. I went with vortex sliders since I use them on all my other bikes and they work well.
This particular bike isn't great for mounting sliders so in the event of a high-speed crash (80+ mph) they could break off but I don't expect to ever crash this bike at that speed.
I've also replaced the tail lights with LEDs and put PIAA bulbs in the headlights. When winter comes I'll probably be getting a LeoVince exhaust for it. It also needs some suspension work, the front forks bottom out too quickly. The brakes suck so I want to figure out some way to upgrade them, not really sure whats available. I'd like to get some better tires as well but there aren't too many options for sticky rubber for this bike.
