Yea i know another finally got to ride post, but i dont care Salt was pretty much off the roads, and finally got to a whopping 38 degrees today and i had enough waiting. My bike is getting a few new parts yet and torn apart, so called a buddy and borrowed a bike, and finally got to ride for the first time since Nov 3rd. I FEEL ALIVE AGAIN

 

This is the perfect time for posts like these. Especially for people that are in areas that can't ride. Good for you!!! 2 days and counting, and I'm putting the bike in the truck and heading south for a week.

haha, yea i have one of these "finally" posts also, haha
but i did that one the other day when i just changed my oil and took it for a 10 mile spin real quick (it was freezing outside)
bu ttoday it hit around 50 deg. and i put about 110 miles on the bike.
it was my first real ride... of the season.. and of my life. it was awesome i just rode around wherever i felt like all day basically.

 

I know what you mean, I feel normal again! My girlfriend even said I'm being nicer to her than usual... lol.

Glad you got out! Our temps around here are hitting the low forties pretty consistantly and it's great to see that white stuff go away. Now if I could just get a big old rain to wash all the sand away I'd be set.

 

Looks like you had some fun man. I had my bike out last monday for a few and it was not bad. I'm hoping in a few more weeks I will be able to ride alot again. My bike is ready to go and even has a full tank of fuel.

 

I rode to work for the last 3 days. Today was the coldest (30 degrees). Talk about some numb fingers.

As far as I'm concerned, Spring has sprung! It's good to be back in the saddle.

 

Yeah attempted to get out on my first ride on tuesday. Couldnt get the hurricane to start and my battery charger is MIA.... Was so depressed I tried to pop start it until the woman finally told me to come in or else she was going to send me to the nut hut[&o]. Should be getting plates and tabs for the RR today and than Ill be ready.
