WHY would you, and experianced rider I am guessing, be out riding that aggressively with a new rider?
And why in heck would this guy own that beast as a first bike?

That was a recipe for disaster from the get go.

I hope your friend makes it to ride another day...

And if he doesnt, I hope you get charged with manslaughter.

sounds to me like there are a lot of experts. its nice to be in the company of so many people that know everything about everything.

thex. relax. we get it. its not very nice to hope the guy can never get over it.

everyone else, would you please care about your fellow riders and yourselves, your sport etc,,, and not let people ride in such a manner that puts people in danger. even if you "only met the guy 2 weeks ago and there was a sand storm" or some ****.

LOL, sue gun makers for people getting shot too...whatever happened to personal responsibility and to men being men and making the right decisions, why is it that people here tend to make it sound that the front guy attached a bungee cord to the guy in the rear and made him follow at 150. see the problem is today, in society no one wants to take personal responsibility and everyone wants to deflect responsibilty to others. its the same reason when someone low sides on the street no one stops to help, its called social loafing. "well i thought he/she would help." grow a set of ***** and say "I did it." and for everyone that always bashes squids and stupidity, today its the bike scene that gets ragged on but 30 years ago when you were teens you all cruised around with 440's or 327's or 390's from stop light to stop light. just like our forefathers on bikes roadraced. without squids MOTOGP and NASCAR would not exist. when they first built bikes a chicane didn't form from hydrogen and carbon and poof existed. it was an idea to capitalize on the roadracing sport and to get rich. some of the greatest racers of all time have suffix's such as "great roadracer," but yet no one rags on them, their immortalized. and if squids weren't so popular, their videos wouldn't be so popular on youtube, and people would not goto shows. hell if i remember right, after all of the motogp races you always see one of the "pros" popping wheelies at races etc. what it boils down to is, squids have hella big ***** for what they do period, some may say their stupid but no their most definitely not stupid, since the definition would mean they dont know what their doin, theyd actually be better coined idiots, because they know its wrong yet they do it. but you cannot disagree that it takes some major major ***** to run that fast. and last time i checked, any man with a little self esteem and pride and has a little arrogance and never likes to admit "I can't." It was no ones fault but the newbie rider. lets just sue honda and say "but your bikes made me feel so confident I just had to open it up", nope bad decision and may the strongest survive period. my best wishes go out to the guy, it was just "boys being boys."

I call BS. Those pics were posted way back in March on Bikepics. There's no way this happened yesterday.

so i thought that it good to have somone to ride with.so we both stop we talk a lil and he tells me that this is his second bike after having a 750 gxr for a couple years .. and he told me he just bought this 1k 4 monthes ago and its still in the break in ...well we traded cell # as we decieded that we gonna meet up again to go for a ride . the few days after that it was sand storm here so i couldnt ride since then ,,, till that day he called me and he said that he is up for that ride .. . well i find out later from his family afetr that crash that its his first bike ever and that his dad bought it for him as a birthday gift.....
a) who buys their kid a 1000cc race replica as a birthday present for a first bike? 25, 15, 40 years old--that was a bad choice.
b) 4 mos to get 600 miles logged? that should have been a red flag right there
c) what's the fascination with doing 150 in a straight line? i think i'd rather re-organize my CD collection 5x over.

slow the hell down. and realize that your actions reflect on everyone on a sportbike, good or bad.
