i've always grown up w/ golden retrievers, and i 've always lived near the water........so i tend to like water dogs. but i also wouldnt mind having a red nose pitbull, all white.

 

phxf4i, i love the pic of your mini dobey on your bike haha. shocktroop i will aplaude your choice on the boxer, probly would be my third choice of dog, those things are tooo funny, my parents neighbor has one, she is sooo well behaved, loves to play with the 3-4 yr old lil girl and 2 yr old lil boy, she will run circles around the lil munchins all around the front yard, one day i was working on my truck which was kinda between my parents house and thiers, the boxer, lu-lu, came and sat next to me for the 20 mins i was working on it and gave some kisses.

 

o yah and my father origanly got our labs for hunting but we never trained them, we didnt bother bcuz our hunting buddy has a trained black lab that is pretty good. ps california waterfowl sucks if your on public land!!!

We have a 10 year old Yorkie namedBrim... he's a great dog if you like little dogs. I also grew up with Golden Retrievers and I can honestly say I wish I had one now.

 

I've had several good dogs. The 3 best ones I've had were a sheltie (shetland sheep dog - looks like a mini Lassie), a boxer, and a westie (west highland white terrier). The boxers are great dogs if you don't mind the slobber.
The worst dogs I've had were a cocker spaniel (bit EVERYONE) and a doberman (constantly barking and biting people).

btw-this dog could haul ***!!!!-she loved to chase and catch frisbees
