It has to use 2 motors to do so...

CHEATING!

But I could care less. It has two too many wheels. And it looks nice... for a car. It doesn't compare to a bike.

Hey, it's a steal compared to the Bugatti!

Seriously though what scares me is realizing just what we throw a leg over every day. It takes cheating with 2 engines and $1.1 million dollars to pass what we spent 1 / 50th as much. And we can change our own oil too. With that thing the dealer prolly has to pull the damn engine out and use an eye dropper instead of a funnel.

Impressive, but still not quick as a 2009 Honda CBR 1000RR.

The McLaren P1 has a 1/4 –mile time of 9.8 seconds.

2009 CBR 1000RR: 9.68 sec.

Might be edged out in the quarter mile. But beyond that, what little lead we'd have would be eaten away and we'd get passed on the way to top speed...

Which the McLaren does own us at

That's part of it! We're not riding a Ruckus!

If you could...you would. Its what keeps me buying lottery tickets.

Edit: I was looking at the new Stingray and had to post this up. 750 or 900 HP makes you go fast in a straight line but pushes you in the corners if you get heavy on the peddle. The Stingray with a mere 450 HP may produce better results on the skid plate. McLaren P1 vs the 2014 Corvette Stingray...?

McLaren minus many $$$$$$$$ = Stingray. I don't know but the C7 is a great value in comparison.
