It's kind of heartbreaking though, that all those perfectly good building materials have been converted to complete rubbish purely by giving them a goodly dose of ineptitude.

 

Glad you guys are enjoying it as much as I am! It is a long weekend coming up, so hopefully he will get some 'good' work done.

I've done a few shingles in my time and there is no way I would go on that roof. I just can't see the roof holding him and 10 packs of shingles!

What are the odds he just nails the shingles out like carpet tiles instead of overlapping them???

Yay!! Long weekend, we all enjoy them.

So will the inspirational builder use the long weekend to either **** up more stuff over a longer period, or will he use the extra time to relax and actually make make a good job on what he's doing?.

Sadly, I think it may be the former.

We are expecting about a week of rain on the west coast... we will see what remains.
