Oooo theres more
I don't think hes figured out the 'trusses' need covered too.

Air conditioning

It just sags in the middle to allow water to collect and drain out (this is in Vancouver - a VERY rainy city, BTW). Also, notice the lack of tar paper. Just shingles on sheeting...

Skylights

This is to prevent hornets nests.

He has tarpaper, just opted not to use it I guess.

Sharp...

Who uses and axe at a construction site?!!?

Fk it who needs a screw driver

It's alright guys he's holding it together with toilet paper. If a tornado happened I know where I'd run to. Also thank him for risking his life and walking inside it to take pictures for our enjoyment.
I can't wait to see what happens when he starts to running the wiring for the lights.
Couple of thoughts on the Vancouver location :
1) Won't all that OSB just suck up moisture from the ground and turn into mushy cardboard after the first rain?
2) Being in Canada, Mike Holmes will probably turn up, bag the contractors, and fix it all up for him.
PS : an axe is very useful on a construction site, they are great for unscrewing screws that you have hammered into the wrong place.

My thoughts kiwi, is he will probably just use extension cord, which in this case may be safer/preferred for anyone involved. What amazes me is the roof if able to hold him up...
And yes, that osb will turn into oatmeal the first rain that hits. In fact, the condensation from the ground is probably working on that 'floor' now.
And yeah, Mike Holmes would have a good chuckle about this ones. Unfortunately, there is no contractors involved in this job, just a DIY project that someone else is documenting. If this was contractors work, someone should look for a career change. Maybe modern art is an attractive field?
