Wow, you guys have some really bad dealer experiences. I had one bad experience, and that was with parts. I had ordered some parts to repair a fuel leak in the carbs, and they were on backorder from Honda. The parts manager never took the time to call me and tell me this. It took 3 weeks for the parts to come in, and I was pissed. I have not taken my bike back there for anything even though it's only 3 miles from my house.
Now, I buy all my parts and do all my service at Southern Honda, which is all the way across town (about 13 miles). They are nice, courteous, can put a tire on in 20 minutes with an appointment, and they seem to be honest. Plus, when I order parts from them, they call me later that day to tell me what warehouse the parts are shipping from, and exactly what day they will be ready for pickup.

All I can say is that a wise man once told me, "Cooler heads will prevail." Don't get too worked up over this and try to deal with them in a civil manner. People tend to respond to that technique vice someone that is confrontational. Obviously if they don't fix it then maybe it would be a good idea to flex some muscle and raise some stink.

+1 exactly, I never trust a dealer. its not their life, if they can get it back together quick enough, they can get a good seat at the bar for happy hour.

I had the best experience ever at my dealer...when I bought the bike. I ended up with the owner, and I thought I had found the best dealership ever. I have had a few dealings since, ordering various items, and if I don't get the worst attitude ever (I'm a burden), I get the wrong stuff. They have all been minor purchases, but it is enough to make me think they don't care very much about my business. I would rather buy used stuff off of you guys than go to my local dealer. I think I am going to start doing business with the guy an hour up the road...
