theyre now predicting only 40-50mph winds where I"m at, probably a bit more at annapolis. I'm not so worried now.

"Hurricane Irene's tropical storm-force wind field is larger than both Hurricane Ike (2008) and Hurricane Katrina (2005) at maximum size! "

I wouldn't count on that...

Also the current wave height at the Carolinas coast is 18 feet!!!

So is there any chance that the hurricane will take out the Outer Banks sticker factory this time around?
