The city I'm living in now had an eartquake back in 1989 (5.6) killed 13 people & injured about 150 or so, had some guy on the radio the other day saying we where overdue for the next one. Being a mining town (coal) there are supposed to be that many tunnels running under the place that a big one will case huge areas to collapse, blah, blah. It was the usual "Lets needlessly scare the crap out of everybody" media pulp. Bet you get the same sort media B**s**t happening over there.

Yeah, if they didn't have anything to sensationalize there'd be nothing to report on. I almost never watch the news.
