I used to not ride with ear plugs but I had the stock exhaust so it really did not bother me. Once I got my slip on I went for an hour ride and the noise was almost unbearable. Maybe not everyone needs them but everyone I have ridden with wears them. It is not an uncommon thing to do.

Steve, the reason plugs are not common in Australia is because if you bunged up your ears, the intense heat there would have bikers with exploding heads ..the hot steam has to come out of somewhere ...lol

Yer ..may be , its not uncommon for you and YOUR friends ...mate

but .....
Bloody hell ... did you read the Australia bit?
QUOTE : ( " In Australia ...I am just saying that ear plugs are not very common ..ok " )
35 years ridding with MY friends and none of them use them ...

So any chance we hold the across the board replies ..
How about it may be not be common to perhaps somewhere else on the planet ..? hmm ?
Forgive me for not being politically correct about earplugs.
