The DSM and how bad it sucks...
once had my audi a4 in the shop for over a month **** wouldnt start.. every mechanic i brought it too thought it was elctrical.. i tried new ecu's sensors everything..turned out to be that my timing belt shifted places somehow and was of by so much that she wouldnt turn over...check the timing
Its definatly not the driver in this sense. dsms are well known for having problem after problem. Hell mine had 55k onit and the shift sleeve broke because mitsubishi decided not to annodize the metal right....$2k for that one. That has nothing to do with the driver.

same deal, everyday it was something new, get rid of it. If its the 4g63 motorlisten for crankwalk. Its the #1 killer for them. Basicly if you hit the clutch and head a clicking by the drivers side wheel its only a matter of time before you get hit with it and your newfound dsm becomes a 4000lb rock! Honestly your gonna keep having problems. Dump it before it swallows you. Mine put me 4k in the hole before i got rid of it.

is yours the 4g63 engine?
turbo im assuming? if you dont know look at your exhaust, if it has 1 pipe its a non turbo, if it has 2 its a turbo. easiest way to tell. and i mean 1 pip sticking out of the exhaust not dual exhaust.

only person that seems to mke any sense.....
oh yeah i forgot to add.......sometimes it sounds like it wants to start but then it isnt getting fuel or something like that b/c it grogs down and makes this terrible clancking noise and dies off.......and when it is running......which is tough to do......it makes a rattlig noise almost like a grinding noise when you hit the accelerator quickly......i have no idea but if i had to guess the motor is almost done......
