Absolute is a good vodka for a decent price. My personal drink of choice mixed with coke if you can believe it. Give it a try on the rocks. Delicious. I've been sampling some fine absinthes recently as well. Just started getting into them. Anything from the Jade line at http://www.absintheonline.com/acatalog/Absinthe.htmlis quite good. Expensive though. That particular site has many different brands all shipped from over seas. There are only 2 kinds presently offered for sale in the states. More to come though, it is just beginning over here.

Stolichnaya was always my vodka of choice, Stoli and sprite, or a Stoli collins. Spent many an evening back in the day...

Do you guys get Ice Age or 42 Below (Vodka), their both made in New Zealand & are really smoo(cough)th, seriously.
I'm a beer man myself, but during winter I like to finish a friday night with a couple of fingers (like 5) of Single Malt Irish.

My wife just got back from a three day shopping trip from some place in the States called Grove City. I'm glad to see her home, but man I had a good weekend. She bought me a bottle of Glenmorangie from the duty free.
Grove City, Ohio? If so, hell, I may have passed her or something. Anywho, Vodka isn't tooooo bad. I prefer a finedrink of Single Malt Scotch.

Ya that's it Grove City Ohio. Six bus loads of women from the insurance company she works for go every year. I look forward to this weekend probably more than she does, I don't even care how much money she spends. Like Fish said, an empty house can be so enjoyable.

Pace is right, of course. The best drink ever in the history of man is a low ball with ice, 42 Below, a few splashes of tonic water, a lemon twist, and a sprinkle of sweet 'n low. Mix. Enjoy. I promise on my life Vood, no unpleasant taste within three miles of this drink. It's smoother and more potable than yer mum's teat.
