Drinking & riding...

Yup , it is hard enough and takes way too much concentration and alertness to just stay alive and upright these days on the roads ...
To think that anyone might ever toy with the idea of "drink riding" is way beyond my comprehension ...
On occasions , I might be? , ok I am guilty!! , of going a bit too hard or fast on my CBR , but at least I do it with a very clear head and my concentration set to maximum !...

But seriously... just don't do it, peeps. It's not worth it.
Like Steve said, you need all your concentration. Plus, alcohol has a way of messing with your inhibition, and then stupidity can snowball.

I've got a decent tolerance when I drink, 3 or 4 drinks for a small buzz, but strictly on principle I won't touch a drop before I ride.
I've built a reputation for being a gin and tonic guy, so when I go out with friends and I'm on the bike I have sprite and lime. No one ever gives me a second look and most of the bartenders give it to me for free for being a DD.

I usually drink before or after. I still haven't figured out a way to drink and ride simultaneously......
