Having to go to work the day after christmas. I was all ready to party last night until I remembered I had to come to work today. Now I'm stuck in this office all day long while the rest of the world frolics about in their vacation.

 

I feel ya bro-I'm at work rigth now. I had to work a half of day on the 24th. I have to work 3/4 of the day on new years eve as well.

 

I was thinkin of starting the same thread...goes to show that we're not alone LOL. I'd rather be at home...but it's not like this is the hardest day I've ever worked. I'm almost half way thru the day so I'm pretty happy...most all of management is gone, along with half the staff

 

It took an act of God to get me out of the bed this morning to come into work. All I wanted to do was lay up on the couch and play some Halo 2 dammit. Its a little nipply outfor ridin the bike today or I would do that. I had to work a half a day Christmas Eve and I gotta work half a day New years eve. Other than al lthe invoices and parts flowing in here todoy its pretty borring and I should have called in sick.

 

I dont go back till monday.

 

i have to work 1-9pm. I guess thats not too bad.

 

Could be worse.... could have worked x-mas eve, x-mas day, working new years eve and new years day.......oh wait i am.... goin on 2 years in a row with no extra pay!

 

I am at work because most everyone else is on vacation, and it blows! There must be a sign outside of the shop that says, "All mouth breathers welcome." I want to punch all of my customers in their ear hole, and this just a day after Christmas...[&:]. Oh well, maybe I'll get drunk tonight, and feel better for a couple of hours....

It's not that bad, half the office is gone here too; I just hate returning to work after longer than usual weekends. At least I get another four day weekend...

Been there done that, sucks majorly. Which is precisely why I have a job that is closed on major holidays now. It's easy to get spoiled with holidays though when you have a job that actually gives you some time off.
