DOCTORS vs MOTORCYCLES
DOCTORS:
(A) There are 700,000 physicians in the U.S.
(B) Accidental deaths, or medical misadventures as they are technically
known, caused by physicians total 120,000 per year.
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
MOTORCYCLES:
(A) There are over 6 million motorcycles registered in the U.S.
(B) There were 4,008 motorcyclist fatalities in 2004.
(C) Accidental deaths per motorcycle is 0.000668.
Statistically then, being treated a physician is 256 times more
dangerous to the public health than riding a motorcycle.
Less than 2 percent of the population owns a motorcycle, but almost every has a t least one doctor. People should gasp in shock, "You're going to the doctor? Aren't you
scared???" Or how about, "I won't let my husband go to the doctor until
the children are out of college"

RE: DOCTORS vs MOTORCYCLES
Ahha! A Loop hole!! You also have to factor in the people that die due to motorcycle wrecks! [8D]
Sorry, i thought i'd throw that in there. But seriously, everything is dangerous. Even sleeping in your bed is dangerous. If you have trees over your house, whose to say it won't drop a limb right through the roof and crush you? No matter what you do, you're taking a chance. I don't care about this whole, "Motorcycles are dangerous!!" bit from everyone. You take risks everyday! But, i do my best, wear my gear, and ride smart to do my part to stay safe.
