The choice to wear one or not is great until your son starts riding on the street and you just know he's gonna be showing off and trying to be cool for the ladies. I'd rather have a cop bust his a$$ for not wearing one than the concrete bust his head......

Most people have no Idea until they have slid down the road one time....most people who have, DO wear their gear.
Until you have had skin removed by pavement, you dont have all the facts to make a logical decision!

 

^^ +1 to that. Forcing people to wear their helmets by law gives that person a chance to realize exactly what saved their life.

And I understand the whole freedom thing behind it being a choice, but when a thick headed dad goes out without a helmet on his bike, get's killed because he was stubborn to wear it, how would that impact his wife and kids back at home?
