i also think the area of light isnt suitable for night driving. this might just be me with my F1 cause the headlight is square and limits the total lit area. when i turn on my hi beam it increase the visible area.
and thats not the first time i have heard of getting pulled over for 1 lo beam.

I've been stopped twice by cops when I only had the low beam on cause they thought I had a broken headlight... Brights on, problem solved.

Hi's, during the day... at night, I might drag the dimmer a sec... Never, run brights "always" at night... someone WILL blind you w/ theres... Mid corner, gravel patch, animals, oil, swerve at you... If you don't have sufficiant illumination... aim 'em proper (basic maintanance), or upgrade. Oh, that "keep one eye closed" translates to , no depth perception!!!!!!!! fine in a car,w/ 4 wheels. Getting "flashed mid corner", 'cause you ride hi's all the time... a good way to get killed !!!!!!!! Clean and free, Ripp'n

Same thing happened to me. I ride with them on all the time, but a night, I just dont ride to full left or right so my lights isnt shining into their mirror.
