I do it in the day to be seen better. At night I use only one unless there are no other cars. I think its illegal to ride with brights on at night in traffic.

I wouldn't say you're a fool for doing it, but I don't think it makes you any more visible than lo beam. Lane position is a lot more important to get you seen, and I like to ride on low beam to save the high beam for flashing when you need to try to catch someone's attention.

+1 lane position. But, I leave my brights on all the time riding in daylight to help being seen. I can still flash the brights on/off/on/off (in my case, off/on/off/on) to catch attention if the need arises. My 2 cents.

All the time for me. Helps you be seen. Yes I know it probably gets some people irritated but I will take that. At least they know I am behind them or around the area. Anything helps to make you visible to others out there. Especially female drivers on cell phones!!! J/K

I ride during the day FOR SURE with high beams, but usually not at night if there are vehicles in front of me. My question is, if I am seen better at night with high beams even if it is rude, should I care? Ultimately, if it helps to save your life, does it matter?
