My wife is totally disinterested in bikes, "Is your bike a Honda?" But even she knows the difference between a Blade and an F3.
So people like to big note themselves, and it sounds like this guy used his mouth without his brain being in gear.

I've run into this a few times now:

First I was on the bike (long time ago) at an intersection and some kid pulls up in a car and says "nice bike" I'm like, yeah, thanks. He says "I've got a Suzuki ZX-9 at home, but I don't ride too much" I'm like, Ok, that's cool. When did Suzuki's start making kawasaki ZX's?

Second, was just at the phone store last week buying a new cell phone. I asked the dude behind the counter to swap my old photos from the old phone into the new one. He see's my F4i in there and also my buddies gixxer. He says "cool bikes, my cousin just bought a Kawasaki RR" me: Uh huh. Then he says "I want a Busa because they're more comfortable to ride." Ok, whatever again.

Actually Kawasaki does make an RR, ZX-6RR, and personally I do find Busas comfortable. My busa is more comfortable to ride than my 600RR. I have a round trip of 100 miles for work in heavy traffic and I find the trip easier on the busa then on the 600RR.

You know, there is a big difference between being ignorant and being an idiot. If I don't know very much about a subject, I shut my mouth. By listening and not speaking, I am bound to pick up more info. I kind of think of the guy in the original story (and Dwight's story) as boneheads for speaking about a subject they don't know about. "Cool bike" would suffice in either case...'nuff said.

I'm training to be a store manager at a new retail location, and i have this guy who was down to train me (huge ******* by the way). Long story short, we get to talking about interests and I tell him about my 954 then he's like (what's that a crotch rocket?) I'm like yeah I guess if that's what YOU want to call it. Then's he's like "I have an 81 Sportster Harley Davidson ... best brand ever built. So I'm like"okay here we go" then he's all like you kids and your dumb stunts make the rest of us look bad so I remind him that if it weren't for HD the chrome industry would've gone under two decades ago but at least it reminds me to look at him every time they drive by. So he gets all offended and he's like "you think you can ride I'd smoke your *** in a race around a track" I'm like WTF? You idiot your bike has 60 HP my bike makes more than that at idle, not to mention the fact that you probably would be in the dirt on the first turn when you realized a 500 lb bike corners for ****. My rant is complete. HD riders are typically idiots.

Right, but he said Kawasaki 1000 RR. I forgot to put that 1000 part in there.

Point is, it's funny when the wannabes start talking about bikes. The only experience they have is thumbing through a magazine at the grocery store.

Should of asked how long he has been riding. sounds like a n00b, but I have to be frank, When I started, the only thing I knew I wanted was a cbr600 and the only other bike I knew was the gsxr600's that I didn't like. That was it. Didn't know what a 929, 954, RR, busa, and other bikes. Just have to go through the hoops and learn step by step.

A Quote from the rapper, Lil Wayner: Pewwwwwn on that Yamaha, chromed out 1100....oh wait yamaha 1100?

heres the bottom line, anyone instantly concerned with and only with how many CCs the bike is, is a dumbass, and should be forced to drive a white 1996 dodge caravan forever
