very inspiring. I've often wondered what I would do if I lost a leg, how I would ride, becuase it wouldnt be a question if if, but how.

did anyone see last weeks episode of superbikes? they had a guy on there that was a double amputee. he has won marathons and other things, and currently is stuntingon a4 wheeler!

He did a pretty good job with the hyosung. I am having trouble seeing what he did to the shifter.

I kinda sounded like he "added" the shifter, but I know those arnt autos. Maybe he just modified it.

Nice!

Why is it, and maybe I'm alone here, that East Indians seem so fricken' sincere no matter what they say?

Dude is enjoying himself, no doubt. I've seen only one of those Hyosungs in person and they're not a bad bike considering what they cost new. Those were indeed some cool as hell mods.

His shifter, if you look, is similar to highway shifters on Harley, etc. Since he can't bend his ankle, he has to take his foot off the peg to shift. One shifter for up (the front one), and the rear for downshifting.

I was gonna get one of those UM (rebadged Hyo's) 650's, but I found the vfr.

Cool looking bikes. If only the frame was aluminum it would help the bike's performance. They also had a real bad thing about burning up valves. Hyo had extra air tubes running to the cylinders making them run real lean. I believe they corrected everything on the '07 models. They're coming out with special editions for their '08 models. Wish I had money to throw around so I could ride one.
