I know we have a ton of military, especially Air Force. General Thomas Tinsley from the 3rd Wing here at Elmendorf AFB died last night from a self inflicted gun shot wound to the chest. Its still under investigation so no word if it was accidental or suicide. I dont know if anyone has ever been around someone who has died in this manor but it is very shocking. I have never been around this situation, and I would never have expected our General to die this way.

 

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I see this stuff everyday and as much as I tell you to go talk to someone about it, your going to have to make that choice yourself. A General, wow, you never know what someone can or will do. Just be there for your friends and the rest of the men. Sorry darlin, I don't know what else to say.

 

No its cool, you dont need to say anything. I am not one who gets down from this type of situation. Personnel family is a different story, but it is just one of those things where you here your Commander preach day in and day out about safety and watching out for your fellow Airman. Like I said no one knows if it was suicide or accidental and there was no note. But thanks for the kind words, I know his family needs it.
