We were just talking about this at work. One of the guys was looking to change his plate (BREADGY, he used to stock bread, so Bread Guy). He ended up getting "SIDIOUS" on his car.

My custom plate is pretty easy to figure out, "MYSPD6". Another guy I know has "MS6FTW". I have been thinking of changing mine, or getting rid of it. I have till December to figure it out.

Lmao, I shoulda looked closer, but did you see the VW commercial with the prius? I still chuckle every time I think about it.

But, good choice on the lancer, I test drove an evo last year, I was quite impressed.

The new Evo's are nice as "American" cars, but the only GREAT Evo was the VII. Some would argue the VIII was better, but definately not any of the new models. They went all consumer-friendly to compete with Subaru. I intend on buying an VIII eventually, thuogh I'd LOVE a VII with the steering wheel on the right. Just like bikes, its a hobby vehicle, just WAY more expensive to tinker with.

That's always been why the Prius never caught on. It's an old lady car. They're precisely the reason Tesla Motors decided to START with something that would compete with Lamborghini:

I have "enroll" on my iroc, amazing the crap you do when you're 18. but I just kinda kept it. I wasn't aware that you could get personalized plates for cycles in WI, until this thread came up, and I looked into it, so when I have to renew next year, i'll come up with something.

Yeah, I saw the tesla on top gear, I was amazed, well, anyone that knows anything about electric motors, they've got the torque, it's just powering them for the length of time thats required. IMO most hybrids out there are just plain crap. this last winter I saw a prius stuck in a snowbank, the only thing I could think of as I drove past it in my 4x4 was "I wonder what it says it's getting for fuel economy now?" It may be a good idea in states that don't get snow and ice, but to sell one up here is just plain, uh, stupid?

In IL (maybe elsewhere) you can actually get the SAME plate on your bike as you have on your car. It's a totally different database. I just opted for the "2" cuz its cheaper.

I know up here I could get personalized firefighter plates the same as my normal plates, but I have FF plates on both "daily drivers" so I never bothered, I just wasn't aware of the bike one.
