I heart thunder storms with a passion! Oh man and to fall asleep to them are the best thing ever. I honestly would every night for the rest of my life if I could without drowning the world around and and if in the morning the roads were dry... lol but seriously I love rain POUNDING down on the roof so hard that you wonder if it's going to cave in around you... I love storms so much that I bought a CD dedicated to thunderstorms to listen to at night... okay that was lame, but it's the truth.

Didn't level the house, but it certainly destroyed it - here's a pic...

Crazy though - didn't touch anything around it other then blew the windows out of a car that was parked right in front of this house. No other damages to any houses/cars were reported... CRAZY!

Kid- We were watching some show, and right at the climatic ending, the news breaks in and says "A house in St. Jo has been destroyed by a Tornado". Glad to hear your okay, but man... I missed the freaking ENDING!!!!

Yea, I now, selfish. I'm suprised it hit a house w/ a foundation, there's a TON of trailers up there, but I guess they're in the river valley, so slim chance of that.

No **** huh, made the KC news...

Now that we have two stations here you should have seen them fighting for coverage and kept saying, "You must tune in here at 10 for the FULL details," Hahaha, noobs.

Yeah the trailers are just about 2 miles south west of where the house was destroyed - I've been saying for years they need to level all the **** "mobile homes" down there - annex it to become part of the city so the city and county can split the costs of restoring it back to what it was.

Here are some pictures of what everything used to look like - it's too bad. We could have had our own Worlds of Fun and could tell KC to shove it! Lol, not hating on KC (boys are looking good this spring!), just wish we had our own stuff...

If you like lightning...visit me.

The EOC also warns of tornadoes and serious thunderstorms. Central Florida is the lightning capital of America with more deaths each year than the rest of the states combined.[2] Lightning kills ten times more people in the area than sharks and alligators combined.[3] The peak months are May-September peaking in July.
