I am indeed PG. I can navigate the interent just fine on IE as long as I don't try to log into anything. Facebook or Photobucket etc.

And Chrome just says will not connect.

If you can go online by logging on in safe mode with network access then you have a bug that needs to be cleaned off. That problem sounds strangely like something I had to deal with last year on my desktop PC. Can you go online with the same Ethernet connection using a different computer? That way you'd at least know everything is okay to that point.

I had to put my notebook PC next to my desktop and I downloaded several anti virus, etc., utilities to a thumb drive and installed them on the desktop. It finally cleared things up enough to where I could get on the Internet with the desktop PC and then I ran a few online scans to clear out any remaining junk.

Edit: I just now read the latest updates that were posted while I was typing my reply. Apparently, you can get online, just not log in.

I can get online ONLY with Internet Explorer. But IE will not allow me to log into anything - Photobucket or Facebook or anything. When I try to log into whatever, it says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. screen, looks like it cannot connect.

I've run Malwarebytes / ccleaner / SUPER antispyware nothing pops up.

CHROME just says

the webspage is not available whenever I try to go to any site.

And I think all the CHROME settings are ok....

no sorry this is madman talk. Trying to play games on a mac is like trying to have safe sex with a paper bag. Sooner or later you will not use it.

I always run ccleaner, malware and antivirus in safemode with network. Update them in safemade with network also.
