Default Computer Question

Is there any way to set your computer back to default setting, and get al the old information off of it without a Windows CD? Whats the best way to do it, or what the best thing to do, if I dont have a windows CD. Thanks, D2

Maybe if you yell louder. it's too early the gammers were up till 3am

Im no help, I buy off the shelf and when it breaks I take into a shop. I can guess making a back up CD might work

OMG I just wrote an entire response and hit back hahah now I gotta do it again!!! Alright I have a few options here and you can see which one will work best for you.

Numero Uno: You can just take all your info and throw it onto blank CDs as a data cd. (Very cost effective might just take a few)

Numero Dos: You can pick up a USB Flash Drive that has like 4 gigs of space and drop it all on there. (very quick and easy to find files to move them around)

Numero Tres: Could also invest in a portable hardrive all though I am pretty sure you would have to reformat the drive with fat 32 as I dont think macs will run off of NTFS but dont quote me on it.

So hopefully one of those will be your answer and at least help. As for reformating did it have Windows XP b4? Fill me in on that one and I might be able to help.

P.S Sorry took me so long to get to you, was up playing old school Star Craft until three in the morning .

You could create a new user and then delete the old user...There probably still would be some shared stuff left over.
