What is the brand and model of your TV? I used to be a home theater installer (for Best Buy) before I was involuntarily separated (laid-off). If it's a newer model Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, Vizio, etc......it should have the VGA connection on the back. Then all you have to do is set your computer (depending on what TV is it) to the correct resolution to match the resolution of the TV.
It sounds all very complicated, but it's the same as hookiing up a computer monitor.........just bigger.

If its an old comp, I would assume it didnt have a DVI output, but we all know to assume makes an *** out of you and me. If its a flat panel TV, then I can pretty much guarantee that it has at least a VGA if not a DVI input also. You don't know the model of the TV?

the video card might have an S-Video out also. If not, you could upgrade the card to one that does.
Do a google search for you make and model. Usually you can figure out what kind of connections you have. Might want to try the manufacturers site first.

i hook mine up to my flat screen with S-Video. only thing you dont get is sound thru your tv you would have to have speakers set up to it still of if its a lap top use the speakers on it. doesnt seem to be a problem for as long as your not trying to watch a movie or anything with it.
