Angry Come on man!

So this morning I walk out side to see my bike on its side. I never gotten so pissed so fast in my life. I guess its not really all that bad damage wise, coulda been much worse. Just a broken mirror, turn signals, and minor body damage.
I dont understand what kinda sack of crap would do this. Living on a college campus it was probably some drunk dumba**. Whoever did it, tried to do it, it was tipped on the kick stand side so someone really had to push on it.
Really what I wanna know is why people do this sort of thing. I know I'm not the only one that has had this happen to them, what are people thinking theses days. No respect for peoples property. It really ticks me off.

This just popped into my head. In the fall my windshield on my car was broken, it looked like someone body slammed it. Maybe I got someone that has something against me.

Id like to think that, I mean I'd rather have it be an accident then someone walking over with the intention on causing damage. As I said in the original post, I think someone did in on purpose, because of the way it was tipped. I have someone in mind but I cant just go around accusing people.

when i was in college, my bike was next to my window in the breezeway or inside my apartment. i can't tell you how many times i'd still find people (usually drunk) trying to sit on it not realizing that the steering column was locked.... try to not keep it in the parking lot if you can... thats why after my first year of college i refused to live anywhere but the first floor

if you have roommates, fuel injected bikes don't smell of gas like carbeurated bikes. they don't take up any room, and it's a pretty cool looking decoration.

i doubt anyone is against you. its just college man. there's way too much alcohol in people and not a whole lot of responsibility. at least, thats how it was with me - haha

sorry about the tipover. maybe someone will try and apologize for it eventually

I feel your pain! A few summers ago, in much the same fashion, I came out of a store in a busy shopping ctr to find my bike on its right side. It had been backed into on its L side & fell over onto its R. Thankfully, nothing was broken, just scratched.

Since you're on campus, report it to the campus police & have a report done. You may or may not want to make an insurance claim but at least you'll have the report. Too, campus police can be aware of the situation & keep an eye out for further mischief/vandalism.

All is not lost w/ the upper fairing w/ the cracks around the signal. You can remove it & put plastic weld or fiberglass sheet to the back of the fairing to strengthen it.

Sorry to see this happen to you.

Yeah, Ive talked to the campus police. They did a report and everything. Thats the plan with the fairings, I have a week of school left then im gonna work on prettying up those fairings. she wasnt perfect thanks to the previous owner so im not gonna file a claim or get new fairings. Ill save that money for what counts. Performance (I need brakes).
