Hey guys I am going to buy my CBR tomorrow and was wondering if I "have" to take the msf course in order to get the License to ride a motorcycle or can I just take the test? I am sure this varies state to state. I am from Texas if that helps any.

The MSF course in Tx waives the riding skill test when you go to get your actual license
