I was wondering if anyone knows if it illegal to have a chrome plated license plate? I had seen one somewhere i dont know if it was on this forum or somewhere else and thought it looked pretty cool and would like to get it done but i dont want to be getting pulled over and getting tickets all the time for having it.

 

im gonna have to say youd get alot of crap for that....#1 because it wouldnt be very readable, and 2 because i think its illegal to tamper with tags.

 

They have certain colors for a reason
