Default Chicken Strips

How many of you have worn yours off already? Also, I'd like to know what some of you prefer for tires, and why?

I'll start off...yea, my chicken strips are gone. On both sides too. I ran the clovers backwards the other day, wearing off my left side! I know, daring right!

I'm currently running the Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's. So far these are the best tires I've ran. They're sticky, they warm up quick, the compound seems to be just right for street. Second best imo is the Michelin Pilot Powers. Again, the compound is nice, they grip well, and are a proven ride for the twisties.

I HATE cheap *** Shinko tires, and Dunflops.

Lost my chicken strips awhile ago. I use to run the Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's also, but i only got around 800 miles out of the back tire. Now i got Michelin Pilot Powers. The Pirelli were great tires, just to much money for such low miles.

Hmmm, I havn't noticed any extreme ware yet on the rubber. I've put at least 1000 miles on mine too. Do you do burnouts?

For the rest of you....that's good humor right there! Once you get off the breading, and down to the meat like this...you'll understand!

Nope, no burnouts... Well maybe 1. Maybe i was just doing something wrong. Might try them again next year, really enjoyed them.

I don't see what you could have done wrong. I'd bet road conditions have a huge factor in tire life. In fact...he he he...I know they do!

That looks like some track time to get that kind of rubber mangling.
