Hey Everyone I need an opinion.
My bike keeps killing after a few weeks or some really long rides. First I lose gauges, then the bike dies. I just replaced the battery after the first episode. Problem just re-occurred last weekend. Could it be a bad stator? The bike did go down two seasons ago on the left side. The stator cover cracked and oil bled out (ugly). The bike is an 02 CBR 954RR. Are there any other inherent charging system issues w/ this model? Or just maybe a bad stator from the crash.

 

its most likely the stator. this has happend to my bike twice.. first time the stator was bad and second the new stator wires burned up...
