F**K Deals Gap. Cops, angry people living around that area, semi trucks, not to mention its not a track where we could really stretch the bikes' legs.

LAGUNA SECA!

We should meet up either for a track day or for the 2008 Red Bull GP..........or even for a superbike class.

You know I keep hearing this **** on a regular basis. Have run the Dragon about 15 times over a five-year period and was only cited one time and it was in Tennessee. I keep hearing about all this bad karma and angry residents and have yet to experience it. Do you have a personal story, you want to share or are you spreading more propaganda..... Speak the truth not Hearsay.
So, I most definitely with my baby girl. Let's run the Dragon

Deals Gap is nice (been there, done that), but what about the Barber Motorsports museum? Or the Wheels through time? Both excellent destinations.

Didn't mean to strike an argument, Just repeating information I heard from a neighbor who used to live next door to my parents. (supposedly they use to live around the Deal's Gap area). Didn't know it would be considered propagandist.

Blue Fox wasn't speaking out of anger. Just really tired of hearing the same old song, law enforcement is definitely out in force in the area, but if you stay within the proper boundaries. I have found, you won't encounter their wrath

Well Sweet Poet will give me a summary court-martial, for adding fuel to the fire, but Barbara's motorsports is one of my favorite rides we have been 2 times in the last year. We could actually rent their conference room, and I am not quite sure how the track rental works or if they actually even rent it out. I know they run the Porsche driving experience on the track, almost daily. And it may be a more suitable location for a event like this absolutely no risk for any law enforcement problems and I truly believe meeting on flat ground, would make it more likely for some of us to resist the urge to push too hard and end the day with a crash. Running the Dragon has a tendency to bring out the more aggressive nature in all who run it. Barbara's motorsports is a wonderful place to spend the day but would not be suitable for weekend, unless AMA was running or WERA there are other associations that use the track also, but they are the only two that I'm aware of that are open to the general public. I have a slideshow running on myspace page from Barbara's motorsports. I would be happy with either Barbara's Motorsports or Deals Gap . Barbara's first motorcycle placed on display was a Honda and the museum backside is all glass and sets back in one of the most wicked turns on the whole track, and most of the back side of the track is visible from the upper floor of the museum. It is not uncommon to find people standing there all day watching whatever is happening on the track

Currently in the middle of nowhere, New Mexico. Seems equi-distant to either coast. Been to Laguna, so would rather Barbers. Godwillin' I'll be a resident of Virginia by the spring, and so would be happy to meet wherever, out east. Let's do this thing! T-shirts though?
