Kansas? Ya know I was thinkin' everybody should come to New Mexico! We've got twisties in the North, and the local track ("Sandia", in Albuquerque) is probably available and affordable. Just a thought.

 

^^ LOL. For some, it'll be alright. But for many people in the more northern states, they'll probably melt. (or stroke from being too hot.) And that's if they don't die from the extreme boredom this state is known for.

I can't help it if 'Cruces has become a pit! It is one of the fastest growing towns in the U.S. and I can't imagine why. Anyway, I was not really seriously thinking you gearheads would come. This is my home, and so I have a special affinity for the life that thrives in the desert. It does look like a "shaved ***" in about 80% of the state, I admit. We are a poverty state and lead the nation in drunk driving, drug addiction, crime, illiteracy, and teen pregnancy. It takes a peculiar personality to feel good about living here, but I love it. I hate that I have to leave. Anyway, I was just kidding! Slater, G.

 

^^ I love the weather here, but the people are kind of getting on my nerves. Not to mention all the drunk driving, retarded drivers, retarded pregnant teens, etc. etc. But the landscape look amazing (depending on where you go.)
