A meet at the Mid-Ohio track is a no-go. I just got off the phone with them, and they do not do open track days, you would have to rent out the ENTIRE track for the day, which costs $9500.00...............so unless some rich member wants to rent out the track for us, I'm afraid Mid-Ohio is out of the question.

Any other tracks around that area? Or even in that region. How about Indy?

^^ Nevermind, Indy doesn't do track days either. Man, finding a track around there is tough. Help out guys from around that area! What other good tracks are around that area? (just tried to call Road America, and they're closed until Jan 5.) [:@]

LOL! Just for kicks, I called up Laguna Seca to ask about a track day. Wouldn't you know it, they don't do independent track days either.

But, we could rent out Laguna Seca for an easy $15,700 per day! WOW!!!! HOLY S**T what does it take to upkeep a track? 15k PER DAY? WOW!!!!!!! Not to mention, THEY'RE BOOKED COMPLETELY UP UNTIL THE END OF MARCH!!!!!! THAT'S OVER 1,617,100 dollars in JUST track rental fee's ALONE! HOLY F**KING S**T!! SCREW the lottery, I'll just build me a damn track!!

If there are enough members in California who want to meet up, I'd say spending the day riding Highway 49's Little Dragon would be a lot of fun.

How long of a ride from lake Tahoe to laguna. Is it a great ride. Seems like it would be. I have a free place to stay in Tahoe. I can rent a bike or maybe ship my Repsol. I know I can get a nice 600rr for $300 for 48 hours. No clue what shipping my bike would cost. Seems like a cool trip.

A more centralized location would be best. I'm having an extremely difficult time just even trying to find a track that does open track days period.
