Cash Call
Anybody see those new commercials with Gary Coleman for Cash Call? I saw it today, and noticed the fine print on the bottom said the APR is 99.25%
ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS??!?!
I went to their site and looked at their rates...
http://www.cashcall.com/General/Rates.aspx
Basically, if you borrow $2600, it's going to cost you $9095.10, if you borrow $5075, it's going to cost you $24738, and if you borrow $10000, it's going to cost you $30751.20. WOW.

I guess I'm not the normal one, my credit cards have $0.00 balances but emergencies can happen to people sometimes.
*shrugs*
It would have to be pretty damn bad to leverage that kind of loan.

RE: Cash Call
The APRs at these places isn't as bad as those "cash your check" places...if you think about it with those places charge up to 250%..
Check out the house of the guy who founded "Check Into Cash," W. Allen Jones. If you ever watch the Barrett Jackson car auctions on TV he's the one who wears the Tennesee hat all the time.
