car problems
ok not sure if this id the right place for this post but here goes. wife recived a car from her mom she drove it down here 2 weeks ago adn bought a new jeep comader. now i have a rain car! but the problem is i took it down to dmv to get it under my name adn new state plates since she lives in nm. the dam thing broke down on the way home . had to have it towed home. it turns over but no spark to the plugs so i mes with a few things and came up with this ! it has a broken timing belt ..now i also found out it has a non interfenece motor ( no valve, piston contact) the problem i am having is a the belt is like 30 bucks and 300 to 400 in labor.. now i have rebuilt motors and worked on my cars all my life due to being poor. has anybody done this before can i do it with a simple tools or do i just suck it up and pay for somebody to do it for me? i am going to pick up a manual today for it from autozone and pick up the belt.. or sorry it is a 95 toyota camry
