Default Car problem

I just bought a used car and now it sounds like it's going to die when it's idleing and backfires with I give it alot of gas. Help please

what kinda car!? check engine light on.. ? check your ignition...wires..spark plugs

Werd. Sounds like a misfire. Bad coil packs, wires, plugs.... details help

No check engine light the guy i bought it for said that he sprayed off the engine and there might be water on the plugs

Make, Model, Year, Mileage, Engine type/size would help. (IE Distributor/less?, Coilpacks?, Coil over plugs?) - Vacuum leak? - there's lots of common issues with tons of cars, and the detail would narrow your problem significantly.

Does it start well, then idle bad, or do you have to give it gas to start?

How many miles?

It's hard to diagnose a problem without knowing what your dealing with. Atleast we know its a car.

Its like calling 911 and saying help Im in a burning building and hanging up.

Give us some info please, there are at least a few of us who are auto tech's here, but at least need some basic info, year, make, model, engine size as stated above.

Check for any water in the oil which would point to head problems...there may be water beads on the dipstick oil or just general oil emulsification...

Yeah man we need alot more details on this car of yours. Year, make, model, engine size, miles, all that good stuff. This post is like going to the doctor and just saying I hurt.
