Default Canyon Dancer Straps?

I am wondering if anyone has used these starps and how well they hold? I usually strap around the forks and down the fairing but it has been scuffing and stressing the fairing even with t shirts between the straps and bike. If those aren't a good product is there a better way to secure the bike?

I strapped my 600RR in the back of my F150 and drove from San Diego, CA to Phoenix, AZ and back with no problem using four ratcheting straps that I bought at CostCo for $15 and my buddy's canyon dancer. I did a strap on each end of the dancer and two straps wrapped around the top of the rear tire (one on each side). I had no shifting and it was down rock solid. I didn't hurt my bike in any way from the 700+ mile trip.

I thought I saw someone selling a canyon dancer for $27, I think Kneedraggers.

I have the Canyond Dancers straps. Lets put it this way, I wouldn't trailer my bike without it. I trailered it from Oklahoma City to Panama City Florida and several shorter trips since then with absolutely no problems. It is a great investment if you trailer your bike.

I use a Canyon Dancer, which is great in most applications.

It's twisting and pulling my left grip off, and turns my left switchs on the clip-on.
Not to mention smashes the horn button so If you turn on the ignition the horn blows!
That's gotten me a few times

This is a new product, which is supposed to be better.
