Default cancer risk from riding bikes?

I was in class on friday and my teacher brought out some car sports magazine and showed us an article about how motorcycle riders have a slightly higher risk of cancer in parts from the waist down, such as prostate cancer. This is a result of riders straddling the engine which gives off radiation. She said the article is just reporting a new theory but nothing is proven. Has anyone else heard about this??

Well, I heard saliva causes cancer, but only if swallowed in small amounts over a period of years...

I might have given it the benefit of the doubt if it sai due to more exposure to the sun (for those ridin without gear) but then again, road rash is a perfect cure for skin cancer.

geez...if riding my bike gives me cancer then bring it on. I'd rather die from cancer of riding my bike........than dying from being an **** retentive a$$ who avoided any kind of risk. Hell...reading this website probably gives me cancer....fine...somebody pass me a cigarette [sm=smokin.gif]
