I will also often "assist" a biker in heavy traffic on the interstate, if its feasable, I will ride behind the biker, keeping a nice
buffer for him. if nothing else it eases my mind, if not his, that no one is going to rear-end him during the stop and go on the interstate.
I also will block a lane for a second or two if the bike wants over so that he can manuever freely without the chance of somone cutting him off.
+1.....I feel that it's my job as a biker to protect other bikers from other cagers when I'm in my cage. I usually wave or do the head nod so they know I see them, then I'll jump in behind them and keep other people away from them.

I also can't stand it when I'm in my cage and I see other cagers tailgating a bike. [:@] I'll make it my solem duty to get behind that bike to make sure that Sally-Jackass doesn't get a chance to run into the bike while she's chatting on her phone about what Vanessa-Douchebag did at the party last night.

.......Oh, and I also have the "BIKER FRIENDLY" stickers all over my car, so bikers know I'm a fellow biker (even when I'm in my cage). If you don't have them yet, I strongly suggest signing up and getting them (they're free!) and it's for a good cause.

Sooo, should I stop ? When at stoplight, in SUV and light goes green, I pop the clutch and rev the throttle, of the steering wheel!
I also now find the only position of comfort is in the Sphinx! Pax, G.
