HC is HARDCORP8654, Crossbreed, he's a revered and respected member on these boards, and hails from Georgia, I believe. He was a Marine Gunnery Sergeant until recently with a whole host of specialities, who is now working in the private sector.
We haven't heard much from him of late, as he's been busy, which is probably why you, being new, don't know him.
Look up HARDCORP8654 on the members list and you'll see who he is.
A good man to have watching your back (or anything else) he he.

For starters, paragraphs are your friend...that was a very hard read all grouped together...

All "smartassery" aside, that is a real sh*t deal you got there bro. I learned my lesson about salesmen the hard way when I was 18 and bought my first new car. To spare you the story, they basically bent me over and f***ed my *** with a pineapple. Young, naiave me didn't even see it coming and by the time I did, it was way to late.

The best power you have as a consumer is the ability to walk and go to another place...and that's exactly what you should have done the second they started dicking around with you. This issue needs to go to their regional management and corporate, as well as local publications and the BBB. Hell, I've even seen people hand flyers out at bike nights in protest of a certain dealership.

Bottom line...make them pay for what they did, and show them that they can't just walk all over you.

HOLY *****!!! That is the worst thing I have ever heard...I thought my local guys were stupid dicks, but that takes the cake. Why don't you tell the owner of the shop what you think of his salesmen and their blatent lies. You won't get jack in return, but you can give him an earfull.

Call the shop, and ask for the owner. Do it as many times as it takes. Maybe this guy doesn't know he has liars working for him. Rat those bastards out!!! You have a huge receipt to aid in your credibility...if you spent that much on bikes, why would you make up something about $600 worth of gear? Go get 'em, Breed!!!

I worked at a new car dealership for several years. I left cuz I couldn't sleep at night any more. Just know that whatever the salesman or the manager or the finance manager says is bullsh!t. If it's not clearly written down and signed by both parties it never happened and never will. A salesman will tell you anything to get you into the dealership. The manager will promise the moon to close the deal but will rarely back it up in writing.

My advise, if the deal starts to feel weird in any way, just walk or else you will get screwed. Never walk into a dealership having to buy their car or bike. Always be willing to walk away. Even if your signing the last document. As long as you never leave the lot with the vehicle, they cannot hold you to the deal.

apparently you dont know what a sales job is....a great Bull****er is always the best salesman....the owner could care less, he got his money so the saleman did his job.

What shortbusreccomended is a better approach

I am a salesman, N8. The best bull****ter may make some good sales at first, but will be found out soon enough...everytime. A bull****ter who doesn't follow through for his customers will not have those customers for very long. Sales is about relationships. Maybe you don't know what a real sales job is. In fact, I guarantee it. I am filled with much brown matter, but I also have my customer's best interest in mind most of the time. If my boss found out I was slinging ****, I would be in a world of hurt. The owner of the shop may be just as much of a greedy bastard as the salesman. Maybe they don't care about one sale because there is always someone else who will buy said product. All I know is,most owners of any business would want to know if their employees were lying to customers. Breed was promised so many cool things, and the salesman failed in every aspect. I think the owner of the business should know. Breed, I don't think contacting Honda directly will help you. They are too big.I think you would get better results locally. Bad news travels fast by word of mouth, and it travels much faster than good news or praise. Keep us posted.
